YPGN has supported S.I.F.E. (Students in Free Enterprise) since early 1999. YPGN's founders also assisted in starting the Pepperdine S.I.F.E. chapter in 2000 and have judged at S.I.F.E.'s Regional Competition since 1999.

Mike Costache, YPGN's chairman, is a Sam Walton Free Enterprise Fellow for Pepperdine's S.I.F.E. chapter; Russell Mohberg, YPGN Advisory Board member and Kapil Juneja, YPGN Vice Chairman also serve as Business Advisory Board members for Pepperdine's S.I.F.E. chapter. They all donate substantial time, money and other resources to Pepperdine's 80+ S.I.F.E. members.

Most recently, YPGN provided 4 scholarships ($1,650) for students from Pepperdine's S.I.F.E. chapter to attend the 10th annual Investment Capital Conference organized by the Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA). YPGN is also providing 10 scholarships for S.I.F.E. students to attend the annual Success 101 business Academy ($3,000).

In addition, YPGN is offering all S.I.F.E. students and alumni a 50% tuition discount to attend the June 10-15, 2003 Success 101 Business Academy. If you are a student or alumnus/na from any of S.I.F.E. 1,400+ college chapters in the U.S. or overseas, you can register for the 50% tuition discount at http://www.ypgn.org/academy-application.asp. Make sure to use the drop down menu in the Referral Information and click on S.I.F.E. and then mention the college you are from. YPGN will also make a $25 donation to S.I.F.E. on your behalf.
