YPGN has supported S.I.F.E. (Students in Free
Enterprise) since early 1999.
YPGN's founders also assisted in starting the
Pepperdine S.I.F.E. chapter in 2000 and have judged at
S.I.F.E.'s Regional Competition since 1999.
Mike Costache, YPGN's chairman, is a Sam Walton Free
Enterprise Fellow for Pepperdine's S.I.F.E. chapter;
Russell Mohberg, YPGN Advisory Board member and Kapil
Juneja, YPGN Vice Chairman also serve as Business
Advisory Board members for Pepperdine's S.I.F.E.
chapter. They all donate substantial time, money and other resources to
Pepperdine's 80+ S.I.F.E. members.
Most recently, YPGN provided 4 scholarships ($1,650) for students from Pepperdine's S.I.F.E.
chapter to attend the 10th annual Investment Capital
Conference organized by the Los Angeles Venture
Association (LAVA). YPGN is also
providing 10 scholarships for S.I.F.E. students to
attend the annual Success 101 business Academy ($3,000).
In addition, YPGN is offering all S.I.F.E. students
and alumni a 50% tuition discount to attend the June
10-15, 2003 Success 101 Business Academy. If you are a
student or alumnus/na from any of S.I.F.E. 1,400+
college chapters in the U.S. or overseas, you can
